The Royal Hotel, South Parade, Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset

The Royal Hotel was built in the early 19th century and was enlarged circa 1849. It was the resort's first hotel and was opened in July 1810. It was originally known only as The Hotel and became known as 'Royal' in the middle of the 19th century.
