This painting, attributed to García de Bouzas, depicts the Virgin holding the Child, following a model created by Titian around 1560. Mary is dressed in a blue mantle over a pink tunic and a brown veil, in a maternal pose, with the Child on her lap turning his face toward the viewer. Through an open window in the background, the evening sky can be seen.
