The War

The theme of power and destruction can also be observed in the lithograph La Guerra (The War), where a little evil big-nosed magician plays with a couple of planes in a threatening manner. The disaster’s effects appear towards the bottom inside the flames, in a composition that takes elements from the popular expressions of the ex-votos.
