The sculptural composition "Thirsty Cyclades", executed by Alex Mylona in marble, is distinguished by its geometricity, the schematization of the form and the unique way in which the artist realizes the union of the forms on both sides of the artwork. The great love that Mylona has for the Cyclades - she spends a lot of time in her studio in Syros - is also reflected in the title of the composition, which on the one hand reveals an intense erotic element and on the other hand demonstrates the well-known problem of water scarcity on the islands.
