The title of nobility of Bartolomé Villalobos, a native of Martos. It was recorded in Baena on February 8, 1797, before the town's public notary, Juan Pedro Regalado Maurial, at the behest of Agustina de Sandoval y Villalobos, as holder of the bond founded by her uncle, Alejandro de Villalobos, to whom this document belongs, with the aim of preserving its contents for their descendants.
The document contains 29 pages of vellum with Gothic writing, not counting the cover, and a final paper page with the proceedings of notarization and a lead seal which has been lost. The document was signed in Granada on August 14, 1536, before Doctor Mesia and attorneys Morillas and Puebla, and was countersigned by Cristóbal Vallejo, a chamber notary. The petition was presented before the Chancery of Granada on September 27, 1527.
