A standing man dressed in blue with a beard putting an arm over a sitting woman dressed in navy, with a navy background and dark shades.
Coronel had a deep admiration for the Venetian Renaissance artist Titian, he portrayed him in many of his works. Here the title alludes to Titian and his wife, who dies a few years after getting married, something similar to Coronel's wife.
Both people portray looks like they are passing middle age and their robes along with the background are emphasizing their faces.
Rafael Coronel develops an art work based on the portrait of religious characters like monks and representations of death. He creates fantastic worlds with simple even empty background which emphasize the characters. Coronel was also a mask collector, objects that are recurrent in his work.
