The sarcophagus is decorated with allegories of the virtues—faith, hope, prudence and temperance—and two angels in the middle holding the coat of arms of the Royal House of Castile.
The recumbent figure wears a white habit and cape and holds rosary beads and a prayer book, now at the National Library.
