Tomb of King João I and Queen Philippa of Lancaster - Founder's Chapel

The effigies lie side by side holding each other's right hand. The corresponding mottoes are carved around the border of the lid and long inscriptions concerning the life of each of the buried engraved on either side of the chest. In the background, from left to right: tomb of Infante D. Pedro, King Afonso V and King João II.
