Goam, Lee Ungno was forever in sleep in Paris. Goam died in 1989 in Paris. In the same year, the Hoam Museum hosted a large-scale exhibition of his art. His body was buried in Père Lachaise Cemetery, alongside numerous great artists. After his death, a number of galleries, including the Musée Cernuschi in Paris, Taipei Fine Arts Museum in Taiwan and the Asahi Gallery in Tokyo, held exhibitions to review Goam’s art and life. His works are internationally collected by a great number of galleries in France, Italy, U.K, Switzerland, Denmark, Thailand, Japan and U.S.A, including MoMA in New York and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris.
