Traditional Chinese Opera at the Emilio Carballido Festival

Carballido first traveled to China in the late 1950s and from then on maintained a deep interest in the country’s performing arts and culture. As a tribute to this facet, the 8th Emilio Carballido Festival included the traditional Chinese opera “The Matchmaker” in its program.
