"Pano de obra", a traditional type of cloth introduced to Cape-Verde from Guinea-Bissau made from cotton. It consists of six narrow strips, stitched together, with an embossed weave decoration, of colour on a white background. There are also decorative motifs of the geometric type arranged in cross bars. On the sides, it has crosses inscribed on lozenges.
