Trafalgar Square, Westminster, Greater London

Trafalgar Square was laid out from the 1820s as a part of John Nash's redevelopment of the West End of London. The square was designed by William Wilkins and Sir Charles Barry to enhance the setting of the National Gallery at its north side, and to connect Strand with the West End.
