Training rifle for young soldiers standardized in 1754. Flintlock system, its smooth-bored barrel is octagonal on the back, then cylindrical. The wooden body, decorated with simple carvings, is equipped with bronze plates. It once was the training soldier’s rifle of the young Emperor Joseph II (1765-1790), who later donated it to his tutor, Count Károly Batthyány.
