Trinacria (Mauro Staccioli 1993)
The name “Trinacria” means "triangle" as for the shape of Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean. The Greeks called it Trinakrias, the Romans called it Trinacrium, a mythological character with 3 legs (the three points of the island). Today its known as Sicilia.
