Trinity of the Portico of Glory

The capital that crowns this scene justifies with its iconography the divine descent of Christ, underlining its double nature. In the capital a Trinity is represented: God as paternitas embracing Christ in his lap, the child, and in the upper part, the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove. On the sides of the capital, angels with censers accompany the scene.
