Filomena was born in Miranda do Douro, on 9th March of 1966, and later moved to Espinho were she lives now, teaching in Domingos Capela High School.
In creating process of the three-dimensional piece she tried to represent through the tracery of corrugated conical shapes, balanced and harmonious held in mesh network, the movement, the change, the transition and the evolution of time, of a society driven by nature. The chromatic tones used, represent the colors per se, the shades, environments created by nature, the contrasts of light, shadow and penumbra, ranging from shades of earth /wood tones the warm and cool tones of construction volumes.
