Triveni Ghat, Rishikesh

Pilgrims as well as tourists visit this Ghat to take a dip in the holy water of the Ganges. Treveni, meaning confluence of three is one of the biggest and must visit Ghats in Rishikesh. The famous Ganga aarti is performed here every day. The Ghats are also the starting point for Boat rides in the Ganges. Bharat Mandir, one of the oldest temples in Rishishek, dedicated to Lord Rama’s younger brother Bharat, is located near these Ghats.

Geeta Temple and Laxmi Narayan Temple are other major attractions. Chandramauleeshwara Temple, Pushkar Temple, Raghunath Temple, Shatrughan Temple, Venkateshwara Temple are other temples on the banks of the river Ganga.
