Aaron Cohn was born in Columbus, Georgia in 1916. Aaron grew up on a farm, graduated from University of Georgia Law School in 1938 and volunteered for military service in 1940. A Combat Operations Officer in General George Patton's 3rd Cavalry Group, Aaron saw action in four major European campaigns, including the Battle of the Bulge. At war's end, he helped liberate the Ebensee concentration camp in Austria.
