These tapestry segments probably composed the front half of a male poncho. They are characterized by an extremely stylized decoration, with repeated motifs that become larger towards the central section and flatten out on the sides. The winged figure recalls the iconography of the Gate of the Sun in Tiahuanaco (Bolivia), which appears often in the religious imaginary of the Huari.
