Two murals tell the story of Cool Capital's intent:
Firstly the intent to connect Pretoria, which is disjointed both physically and on a metaphorical level as a result of the city's history, is portrayed by Eric Duplan's graphic of the city plan.
Secondly, the mural to the right depicts Diane Victor's dust drawing of the late President of the ZAR, Paul Kruger lying in state on the dusty floor of the much contested Transvaal Provincial Administration building. The work questions how we deal with the past in a very different contemporary political and social context.
