Two-sided helmet mask

The masks’ two faces represent male and female nature, the complementarity of which is expressed by the alternating combination of white and red. The mirror placed on top was probably an element associated with clairvoyance. The English phrase written on one side of the mask reminds us that “Youth comes but once”.
