Known for its ancient cuisine, Balochistan is a land filled with nostalgia for a simpler time. Traditionally, the Baloch life was one intertwined with nomadic struggles of sustenance. In times of drought, shepherds opted to climb up the mountains in search of greener pastures alongside their herds. In order to travel light they only carried essentials and no proper crockery to bake, etc. This led to the creative usage of stones for baking, a process that is used to make the famous Balochi Kaak.
