Margaret (Peggy) Mason married her US Air Force sweetheart, James Stidham at Bletchley Church on special license in 1945. Margaret was a member of the WAAF (Women’s Auxiliary Air Force) and worked in Hut 3 where deciphered Enigma messages sent by the German Army and Air Force were translated and analysed for intelligence.
