Ukhal musal (Mortar & Pestle)

While most families use the ukhal musal once a month, this family used this mortar and pestle at least twice a month to grind grains and pulses. This frequent use was necessary because of the size of the family, with around twelve people living together in the same house. This ukhal musal was in use for more than ten years.
