UnidosUS Ya Es Hora ¡CIUDADANÍA! Program

Immigrants in our country aspire to the rights and duties of citizenship. And the American people value naturalization, but barriers and anti-immigrant policies often threaten this national good. In the late 2000s, responding to a period of anti-immigrant sentiment by building on the energy of nationwide pro-immigrant marches, NALEO, UnidosUS and SEIU launched Ya Es Hora ¡CIUDADANÍA!, an unprecedented effort with 400 community groups and Spanish-language media to help immigrants become citizens.
