Silver United Nations medallion. OBVERSE: Rough relief model of the world in garland and "Nations Unies / Assemblee Generale Paris 1948." REVERSE: Eiffel tower surrounded by ring of 32 figures holding hands. Marked on the side, "ARGENT." Housed in green case inscribed: "Mrs. Eleanor ROOSEVELT" in gold on cover. Medallion presented to Eleanor Roosevelt as a delegate of the United Nations by the government of France. FDR Library Museum Collection, MO 1949.102.1.
