Ben Osaghae was born in Benin City in the year 1962. He graduated from The Federal Polytechnic, Auchi. Between the years 1991–1995, he served as a senior instructor in Painting, Life Drawing and History of Art at Auchi Polytechnic.He set up his full time studio, Arthours in 1995.
