Austrian artist HNRX has his origins in graffiti painting before conquering the walls of public spaces. Over the past few years, a considerable number of food murals have emerged throughout Europe, which have become his trademark. The artist elevates everyday objects to the stage of his presentations. He skillfully stages the banal things of life - pink sausages, bananas, toothbrushes, burgers with quirky toppings like shrimp, clothespins - these are recurring motifs in his colorful pictorial worlds. This is less about graffiti and more about art in public space. His style can perhaps be classified somewhere between pop art, comic art, and realism. The young spray painter pursues his art to depict the small pleasures of life in the representation of everyday objects and to give passers-by a smile.
