Details: In 2014, WOOL was once again invited to go to Cale Festival and this yearwe decided to invite NeSpoon from Poland. She was in Fundão, in May, doing an artist residency to prepare this intervention that was executed during CALE, in Ausgust.
Biography: NeSpoon began to make urban art works by 2009 and has left its interventions in several European cities, Africa and India. The work of this artist, is characterized by the finesse of the parts, the aesthetic beauty and integration of the pieces, almost perfect, in the surroundings.
One of his main sources of inspiration is the crafts, and more specifically works on crochet. For her interventions NeSpoon uses different techniques and materials, according to the place to intervene. She works with stencils and with paint and spray in their murals, performs small and delicate ceramic pieces that strategically placed in buildings, furniture or urban trees and performs installations and works with wire crochet. Although most of their works are characterized by searching for an aesthetically pleasing result, also has the grassroots more conceptual.
