Wang Keping, born in 1949 in Beijing, now Lives and works in Paris, France. In his early days, Wang worked in the field of the theater. In 1978, he began to teach himself sculpture, As one of the Founding members of the Stars Group, he participated in the first and second Stars Group Exhibitions in 1979 and 1980 respectively. After settling down In France in 1984, he held a number of overseas exhibitions. His works are collected by art institutions including Center Pompidou and Musee Maillol in Paris, and also by Individual collectors from different countries
