Upside Down Home portrays the lives of young men living in new social housing developments on the outskirts of Tijuana. Like many others in Mexico, it is a complex of small, low quality, single-family houses located far from worksites and basic services. The documentary reveals however, that cities are not only their material conditions, but also networks of people with disappointments, hopes and desires of their own.
