Nezha is one of the most well-known mythological figures in Chinese history and literature. At very young age, he triumphed against evil dragons and scarified himself to save his parents. He was later reborn from a flower with three heads and six arms, eventually becoming a deity himself. As a symbol of anti-authority narratives and rebellious youth, Nezha is especially popular among young people.
