Vase designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1914. It is an example of the work of the Viennese artists who worked with glass and polished geometrical shapes and applies an architectural perspective to design. It was made by the Lötz Witwe Factory, the most renowned manufacturer of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, situated in the south of Bohemia (current Czech Republic). It reflects the sober taste mixed with complicated technical processes, which were typical of the Austrian style of the first decade of the 20th century.
