Vase used as centre table arrangement. Tin glazed earthenware with polychrome decoration on white clay body. As handles, two suggestive feminine nudes holding the central cup, whose body is decorated with flower garlands. The group is held over a molded base, where the signature of Benlliure can be seen. The sinuous shape of the figures, as well as the inclination for vegetable and flower decorations, shows us an artist with “Art Nouveau” or Liberty aesthetics. By Mariano Benlliure (1862-1947) in Madrid.
