Sheet music for the The All-American Girls League Song, commonly referred to as the “Victory Song”. The sheet music consists of two pages. The song was co-written by Lavonne “Pepper” Paire Davis and Nalda Bird Phillips during their time as players for the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL). On the first page it is noted, “Words and Lyrics by Pepper Paire Davis”. The first page of the sheet music includes the image of a baseball with a signature of Marie “Blackie” Wegman superimposed over the lines of music. The image of a player superimposed over the lines of music is also believed to be Marie “Blackie” Wegman. She pitched in the AAGPBL from 1947 to 1950. “Property of Jane Salty Sands Ferguson” is written on the top on the second page. She played for the Rockford Peaches from 1953 and 1954. A listing of AAGPBL teams is noted at the bottom of the first page, along with a Price Hill Historical Society insignia. Located in the Paire, Pepper Davis Biographical File at the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.

Song lyrics:
Batter up! Hear that call!
The time has come for one and all
To play ball.

We are the members of the All-American League.
We come from cities near and far.
We’ve got Canadians, Irishmen and Swedes,
We’re all for one, we’re one for all
We’re All-Americans!

Each girl stands, her head so proudly high,
Her motto ‘Do or Die.’
She’s not the one to use or need an alibi.

Our chaperones are not too soft,
They’re not too tough,
Our managers are on the ball.
We’ve got a president who really knows his stuff,
We’re all for one, we’re one for all,
We’re All-Americans!
