View from Malabar Track, Lord Howe Island

Located at the northern end of Lord Howe Island, Malabar offers some of the most breathtaking vistas of the island's southern end. The Malabar track, which is one of the island's most sought-after walking trails, starts from Ned's Beach Road and ascends a hill that leads to the top of an elongated mountain ridge. From this vantage point, hikers can get panoramic views of Ned's Beach stretching towards the lagoon and extending up to the towering peaks of Mounts Gower and Lidgbird.
