Built in 1907-08, this pair of houses was designed by Runton & Barry for the Garden Village (Hull) Ltd. The Garden Village was planned for the workers of Reckitt & Sons, a manufacturer of household products that was established in Hull in the 19th century. The estate opened in 1908.
