'Vine and Grapes' design, possibly for a wallpaper

Arthur Heygate Mackmurdoc.1884-87

William Morris Gallery

William Morris Gallery
Walthamstow, London, United Kingdom

This design by Arthur Heygate Mackmurdo was possibly for a wallpaper, although unlikely to ever have been put into production. The motif is similar to Herbert Horne's decoration on a cabinet designed by Mackmurdo and exhibited on the Century Guild stand at the Manchester Royal Jubilee exhibition of 1887.
