The Virgin Mary of Mercy is identified among emblematic saints of the Order of Mercy: St. Peter Nolasco and St. Raymond Nonnatus. From the Virgin’s shoulders to her crown, a set of lights and stars are displayed. She looks Christ Child closely, who holds a globe and the symbol of Mercy on His chest. Mother and Child wear a similar dress and the Virgin is resting on a cloud and crescent moon whose vertices are pointing to the sky.
