Visit of Bishop Władysław Rubin in Rapperswil

Commemorative photograph taken in 1970 in front of the Bar Column on the occasion of a visit to the Rapperswil museum of Bishop Władysław Rubin - an outstanding hierarchy of the Polish and Universal Church, delegate of the Polish Primate Stefan Wyszynski to care for emigration and Polish exile, a close associate of Pope John Paul II, raised by the latter in 1979 to the cardinal's dignity.
