The first president of the Czech Republic, leader of the Velvet revolution in 1989, playwright, dissident; Czech christian philosopher. Jaroslav Kukal was a photographer of the Czech dissent and underground culture. After the Velvet Revolution in 1989 there was finally possible to present the artwork of prohibited artists and authors legally in public.
