Wakame seaweed harvest is thriving at the Toushi island Wagu region. The harvested Wakame seaweed is parboiled with hot water, and most of it is processed into salted Wakame seaweed.The steam that rises when the Wakame is parboiled was selected as one of the Ministry of Environment's "100 Best Scented Landscapes".
