Paragliding in the rainforest. To escape an enemys attac, Wallace's flying frog turns into sort of a paraglider, extending all four legs from the body and spreading fingers and toes so that the greatly enlarged webbing between the latter now turn into miniature parachutes. At the same time, the body will be inflated with air, and additional skin folds along the arms and legs will enlarge the surface area even further. All this enables him to perform a gliding flight that can deviate from the vertical by as much as 60°.
