London, United Kingdom

At the bottom of Walter Kershaw's 'Landscape with Windmills' based on a painting by Jacob van Ruysdael and later copied by John Constable, he painted the figure of a child holding a toy windmill. This is based on the painting in Dulwich Picture Gallery of 'The Infant Christ as the Good Shepherd' painted by a copier of Murillo in the 18th century.
