Water Landscape

The Aranjuez Cultural Landscape clearly illustrates the complex relationship between nature and humans who, far from destroying it, have helped, with their intervention, to preserve and enrich it. The old town, the royal palace, the historic gardens, the long pathways and the vegetable gardens all form part of this heritage that has its origins in the 16th century.
