Watercolour, I Chappell

Robert Ingpen's original design of an image of Australian batsman, Ian Chappell. The image is included in a tapestry celebrating 150 years of performances and events on the MCG. In 75 Tests (1964-80), Chappell scored 5,345 runs, including 14 centuries, at an average of 42.42. In 30 Tests as captain, he lost only five. In 2003, Chappell was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame.
