"Wiener Saal"

The ceiling of the "Wiener Saal" is decorated with an exquisitely relief designed by the Munich sculptor Konrad Buchner. The relief shows Apollo in the sun chariot: here, too, a sparing gold decoration of some ornamental parts has achieved a wonderful effect. As the ceiling of the "Wiener Saal", the walls are also decorated with medaillons, related to Mozart's music.
