Osprey can dive 3-4 feet under water to catch unsuspecting fish below the surface. Once they surface and secure their prey they can take off from the surface of the water because of their oily feathers. In flight they adjust their grip (one talon shifts easily from front facing to back facing) to make the fish more aerodynamic. Fantastic adaptations, all around!
