The high-necked, blouse-like top shows rich adornments, a small standing collar is set upright by sticks. The dress’s skirt is relatively narrow and straight cut at the front, while it widens at the back and changes into a train. The train shows traces of a shortening and must have been longer originally. The dress comes from Gut Loy in Rastede. The former owner and wearer of the dress was Alma Funch, née de Cousser.
