文久三年 [1863] = Bunkyū sannen. Printed on double leaves, this book has been bound in the Japanese pouch binding style (fukurotoji). The illustrations on this page are woodcut.

This book includes a preface by the author dated Bunkyū 3 [1863].

楳蝶楼 (梅蝶樓) = Baichōrō and 一寿斎 = Ichijusai are nicknames of 歌川国貞2代 (1823-1880) = Utagawa, Kunisada 2-dai (1823-1880).
